Meaghan+Josh | Engagement

I met Meaghan years ago, and reconnected through Facebook over the last couple years. Thank heavens for social networking. :) I have always loved Meaghan, she is fun and a no-nonsense kind of girl. So, not only was I happy to start chatting with her through Facebook, but I was even more happy ton hear that she got engaged and wanted me to photograph her wedding. So, we beat the heat and did their engagement session before it got to hot. One thing Meaghan has no tolerance for is the heat, hence the late November wedding. After a brief stop in Carondolet Park with their two dogs we headed downtown for some warehouse fun, with the final stop at Crown Candy Kitchen. If you have never been, I highly recommend checking it out. Their chocolate malts (among many other things) are delish. We wanted to have our final stop here for two reasons. One: it's good. And two: this is Meaghan and Josh's spot. They each have their signature dishes and always order them. So it seemed only fitting that we hit it up. And then have something to eat.

Meaghan and Josh, thank you for a wonderful session and a delicious chocolate malt. I can't wait for the wedding.

June | Newborn

Little June was an absolutely fantastic baby. She was adorable as well as very cooperative. :) That means, she slept like a champ. Her room was done up to the nines and had tons of little details that always get me so excited. One thing that I love about doing these in-home sessions is being able to see how excited new parents are about their new little love and projecting that into the baby's room. There was lots of pink and green and elephants for Miss June. It was bright and cheerful and very inviting. Any little girl would be stoked about a room like this, as I'm sure June will be soon. Thank you again to Genny and Matt for welcoming me into their home to photograph your new family. I had a wonderful time and can't wait to do it again!

Patrick | 9 months

I met up with Patrick and his family at Thornhill in Faust Park to do his nine month session. Have I mentioned how fun it is to watch these little ones grow over the course of a year? It is simply awesome. The last time I was with him he was really just rolling over. Now he is all over the place. It was also great to be able to move the family outside into the sunshine. Check out Patrick and his adorable family. Coming up... one year!!! See you soon!

Miles | Newborn

Little Miles is the final installment of the Noah's School Babies, and he was a fantastic way to finish. We hung out, he peed on me and we were besties. He really did try and stay awake, but thanks to my determination I didn't let that happen. Amanda and Tony, thank you for having me into your house to photograph Miles, and Kai-thanks for being an awesome big brother and letting me photograph you too. Oh...and thanks for showing me all of your Dinosaur Train and Spiderman toys too.

Enjoy!

Ciara | Senior

So, this is my niece Ciara. I did a post about her about a year or so ago and here's another one. She's a senior. In high school. Well, actually, she's already graduated but when we took the photos she was still a senior. We had been talking forever about doing her session and FINALLY got it done this spring. We had a great time going all over town and I couldn't have been happier with the outcome.

Ciara, you are an amazing young woman and I am so happy to have you in my life! xoxo

Enjoy!
